“Itinerant Museum of the Musical Tradition of Le Marche region”
Erard Academy – “The Marca Harmonica” was born from the collaboration between musicologists, historians from Le Marche region and expert local musicians, specialized in ancient baroque and classical music, who have collaborations with some of the most recognized orchestras in the sector under their belt.
To its credit it has rediscoveries of authors such as Francesco Giattini (“Messa à 4 con stromenti”, Cingoli, Cupramontana, Church of San Leonardo), Gaspare Spontini (Motetto “Laeta voce importanti” Church of Sant’Esuperanzio, 1784), Don Niccolò Bonanni (“Kyrie & Te Deum, et fide vera”, introductory symphony “Notturno concertato con vari strumenti con l’obbligazione continua d’oboe e traverso”, 1794-1795 ca., Reale Conservatorio di Musica di San Pietro a Majella), Pietro Cotini (2 sinfonie strumentali con violino/flauto traversiere obbligato 1816/1817 composte per il Carnevale di Cingoli; 2 “Salve Regina” à 3 voci ed organo / à 3 voci ed orchestra) and it continues to propose to the attention of the public and experts, unpublished scores by ancient local authors, the result of patient and meticulous works of revision and transcription, and performed in concert according to the most modern philological acquisitions of historically informed performance practice, to which the use of vintage instruments is obviously structural and substantive.
The strength of the Erard Academy is structured in the ability/possibility to follow all the editorial phases of the rediscovered works starting from historical-archival research, up to the editorial phase of the score and recording of the disc. A real “Thesaurus Musicae” which represents an important and essential cultural heritage for the whole Le Marche region and its inhabitants.
The Erard Academy works in synergy with Astralmusic, a management and consulting company founded in 1998, with its registered office in Castelplanio and with other offices in Rome, Milan, London and Doha. Astralmusic deals with artistic and fiscal consultancy, record production, management, event organization and teaching. Through ten-year experience in teaching in public and private schools, it has obtained European certifications that allow it to practice the profession in all the European Union. Astralmusic has always collaborated with the greatest musical realities including Universal Italia, Rai, Mediaset, Vivo Concerti, and it also develops projects for orchestras, singing and show companies, theaters, and other partners.
